Hand held a daisy to the sky and shot it.
Maybe a cloudless sky would have been more minimalistic.

Greetings from the Critique Club...

Hi Tom...

This is a nicely done image. The color, contrast, and sharpness lend well to the simplicity and minimalism theme. The only 'glitch' I can see in the photo is a compositional issue. This flower is facing out of the frame to the left, which is fine, but the flower should possibly be on the right side of the frame in this case. Imagine that its a person rather than a flower. You would want the empty space between the person and the direction he/she is facing... just some food for thought :)

Nice colors and detail . I think a portrait crop would work better.

I like how you left a bit of cloud in there to complement the white of the flower. Very crisp image

SImple elegance. Love the saturation, sharpness and detail. Nice clean processing. Excellent entry for this challenge. 8

Awesome lighting, focus, and composition. Excellent noise reduction, it appears. This is one of my favorites. 9

One of my top picks - great clarity and detail... the puff of white cloud enhances this image.... only suggestion I would make would be to have included 3 daisies in a bunch.... but that is just another option.....good job overall!

Very good shot and meets the challenge in a nice way. I like the contrast in colours and the lighting on the flower. Good luck!

That´s absolutely great! I really love it. Good focus, really good composition, and colours are awesome. I´d like it to see that without the white "smoke" of the right. Good luck in the challenge. 9

the best Daisy shoot yet (inculding mine) ;-)

Nice capture of the flower. However it facing to the left never brings the eye to the right of the picture. The clouds help, but a portrait crop with the flower in the bottom right might have been a better choice.

I really like this. Nice contrast between the sky and the flower and quite sharp. I theik the only thing I might change would be to move the flower to the bottom right third so as to appear to be leaning intowards the middle of the shot rather than as it appears now which is leaning towards the edge.

Very nice. Since the daisy's bow has a bow, I would have placed it more on the right to make the ideal negative space work harder. Bumping up.

good

Very good. I would of left the clouds out in the upper right. 8

Nice shot. Clear, sharp meets challenge. I am not in favor of the cloud.

A difficult image to comment on really, it has simplicity and is minimal, but the elegance I associate with minimalism is lacking

This is a nice image. I really like the detail that can be seen in this image. You can see little hairs coming off of the stem of the flower. I also like the shade of blue that the sky is. Nice work.
