This is what I felt like last night, however this picture does not make me want to hurl and hit on ugly people. I like it.

This may be different from the norm, but I kinda like this shot. It is not something I would want hanging in my house but I can imagine it being part of a gallery with other peices of your work (either similar to this, or not). I like it because it does fit the challenge. The green is different enought to draw to eye to it's strong point. Yes, it is out of focus, but you can still tell that there are 2 cars waiting with red light on, one coming towards the view and the green light in the background. Overall: Intriguing submission.

Ups! Don' really get it!

very occasionally being out out of focus works. here it does not.

I wouldn't be able to tell that the green light was your subject without the title telling me. The red lights appear to be your stronger subject. Interesting capture, though.

Hmmm, I don't see anyting interesting in this picture.

I think you need some focus.................

i like it. very creative and interesting. i would have titled it "picking up hookers," but don't ask me why, it's no reflection on your photograph and i don't even pick up hookers. :)

I like this take - thinking out of the box. IMO, the focal point is the red (at least that is what grabbed my eyes first).

Interesting shot, but having trouble figuring it out.

This image really drew me in, even from the thumbnail. Very unique and interesting visual, dreamlike, surreal, and yet very simple. Well seen and well done. :o)

What is this--photos should make us feel something--awe, anger, sad, happy--no matter what the challenge. Dots--I don't get it.

are you serious? i'm ROFLMFAO!!! thanks for reminding me that life's too short ;-)
04/29/2005 11:50:05 AM
interesting use of theme
04/29/2005 02:49:03 AM
The red points attract more attention, I think.

Too extreme for my taste as an abstract, and lacking even the richness of shade that might have made me want to stop and look at it much, I'm afraid. I think you could have enhanced the impact of the whole image with some judicious brighness work - but I can't pretend to be understanding of this approach, so must presume this is exactly what you wanted.

I like the idea. Perhaps a square crop leaving the green light and the car on the left would simplify thins and make a stronger impact. -7

way to blurry cant get anything out of this pix
04/28/2005 09:34:00 AM
Slightly out of focus:) kidding. Good idea, may look better a bit darker with more contrast.
04/28/2005 01:53:39 AM
I love the audacious, unrepentant blur of this.
04/27/2005 10:58:54 PM
This shot is so blurry that it's hard for your eye to find anything to latch onto. But I do like the difference between the single green light and the six red lights.
04/27/2005 08:06:30 PM
I dont really see the minimalism in this one sorry to say.
04/27/2005 08:05:54 PM
A nice, artistic approach to the challenge. Still, my tastes prefer something to be in focus, but hey, that's just me.
04/27/2005 06:55:03 PM
Going for the Bokeh challenge? I suspect you're going to get hammered because there's not much to compliment technically, but for sheer originality and chutzpah, you get an 8 from me.
04/27/2005 02:51:54 PM
Original idea.
04/27/2005 02:24:51 PM
umm well, it is evenly out of focus :)
04/27/2005 01:54:48 PM
Interesting concept, but I don't think the DPC voters will be kind to this image.
04/27/2005 01:09:15 PM
artiistic maybe
minimalist not likely
04/27/2005 08:32:25 AM
Nice bookeh
04/27/2005 01:26:45 AM
