Shot on my deck using tripod mounted Tamron SP AF 200-500mm F5-6.3 Di LD (IF) lens and camera mounted Speedlight SB-800 flash.

RAW Conversion using Raw Shooter Essentials set at auto white balance and auto exposure, noise suppression and sharpness set at 10. In MS Digital Image Pro crop; slight boost of red, green blue curves; clone out small amount of fuzz from beak, noise reduction at 10, resize, USM set at 70%. .3, 1

Thanks for all the comments and nice things you had to say. Spent about 2 hours standing about 10 feet from the feeder on my deck and took about 20 shots to get this. The sun angle just was not right for me to get him from the front with his red throat without having my house in the background instead of the beautiful blus sky that day. Thanks again to all.
