Challenge: Extreme Action (Advanced Editing IV)
Collection: Challenges
Camera: Nikon Coolpix 5700
Location: Harwich Port, MA, USA
Date: Apr 6, 2005
Aperture: f:3.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/4
Date Uploaded: Apr 10, 2005

I like the idea of "extreme inaction", and was unable to capture any truly extreme action in the literal sense, so put this up as a lark. I fully expect it to get hammered.

Well, I see the voters didn't care for this one. There really is a lot to see when you spend the time.

I really enjoy this pic, I can't believe the score it got. I love the colors in it and the fierceness of it - which is made even better by knowing that rather than a ferocious moment it is simply a yawn. Well done.

Poor Karma's sulking from her next-to-last finish... I've tried to tell her it was to be expected, but she's a vain little bitch and she (rightly) blames me... Thanks all for commenting.

My goodness it is amazing to see that several people figured out this was Karma during the challenge. Interesting shot of inactivity!

Interesting. I think what may have helped this image is if the background or some other reference point was in focus. Must have been a really slow shutter! Dog looks familiar. :)

I think there is a bit too much "movement" in this...even the stuff in the background is blurred.
