I'm not gettign a good sense of what your pet looks like here... no personality or playfullness. Just a working camera. The DOF effect is cool, though.

And what a nice pet that is, but to me really doesn't qualify for the portrait aspect of the challenge. If you had just gone for a shot of the camera, putting it in a portrait setting you might have done much better but this is just s snapshot of you taking a nice picture of flowers. Also the edges around you and the flowers is too defined and applying the blur was a good idea, the end image is a bit disconcerting. Sorry, a 3
