This watch was my grandfather's. Inside the back cover, which screws on and off, are engraved the words "ALICE TO GEORGE".

Wow! Intricate, very well composed, great lighting, and I love the blue contrasting with the interest generated by the clock itself. Cant really suggest anything to change about the shot!

One of my top 5 for the week. Good luck!

Oh nice.
What an absolutely beutiful watch, captured perfectly. I would love to do some extreme macro work with this! I hope you've put how old it is in your details!

Fitting and appropriate title. I like how you've revealed the intricacies of this watch. the light is a bit harsh and uninteresting, but I love the composition and perspective.

I appreciate the desire for accuracy with this shot - but I can't help thinking as I look at it that it would be even more dramatic taken at an angle - perhaps to help show the depth of the movement. As a catalogue shot it would be excellent, although the flaring-out of some refelctions and the un-evenness of the light would be a minus. Nice shot though

Its great to see that there are still old fashioned time pieces around. Nice job on capturing the detail.

Nice clarity and the uncluttered simplicity is right on.

Very interesting piece. Well done photograph. Maybe it would be better without the reflection on the bottom right of the watch, but i know it is hard to avoid these reflections.

Nice. It's hard to find timepieces with real "innards" anymore.
