| Don't you just love theater and circus? They do it all for you: lighting, strong facial and often bodily expressions, colors, etc. Very compelling shot. |

| Awesome shot. At first, I thought perhaps you needed more light on the right, but after looking at it, I think the darkness contrasting with the light really adds to the effect. 10 |

| Wonderexpression and lighting. Could have used so more room at the top to get the hair. But what happened to the image - I see a funky pattern in the black and in the face. I'm really taken with the basic image, but the technical problems will keep it out of the top group. Still a 7. |

| I wish the black background didn't show so much noise. You've got a great shot here but the background distracts. Still, it's well cropped, well lit, and does give me a sense of melancholy. |

| It's certainly unique. I don't personally like the dead center placement of his head. Perhaps moving him more to the right in the frame and leaving a bit more negative space on the left would improve the shot. Overall does a pretty decent job of conveying emotion. Using the eyes more might help as well. Good luck. 5 |
