This one hurts me, just thinking about it. I hope others feel the same way I did when looking at it.

I was at a moral dilemma whether to snap this pic or not. I walked by and noticed him, turned around and walked by again, then passed him once more before stopping to compose the shot. I should've left him a few dollars before hurrying off across the street.

Congratulations on your 4th placing with this highly touching image. The good sepia effect gives the image that essential character feel.

Really like it. Doorway creates great frame.

Very nice use of sepia here. I like the simplicity of the photo outside of the subject and how it sort of frames itself inside the photo. One of my top ten.

Nice capture, like the tones, great job. (I can't make myself take shots like this, would make me feel guilty and exploitive.)

Is this you Jean-Jacques? This looks and feels like a typical jjbeguin shot. Great composition. I like the many small details and the sharpness on them. 10.

Very nice composition. Great coloring and beautiful lines.
I like that this is real, not studio. It's very strong.

I think the coulor of this photo gives it an eerie feeling, though I wish I could see the fellow's face.

Nice image, but he looks pretty comfortable to me. I don't think the title fits.

I think "Poverty" more than pain when I see this picture. Still a really good picture though, a wee bit overexposed on the walls, but still very good.

Congratulations. This is a very good photo-journalism photo. With good detail, exposure for the style and composition. Very good work.
