Challenge: Breaking New Ground (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S7000
Location: Philadelphia, PA

Aperture: f/ 8.0
ISO: 200

Took this for the architecture challenge. Perhaps my innovation is that I have a talent for picking the wrong pictures for a challenge (I apparently do that A LOT!)and I am seeking redemption.
Innovative...hmmm you decide. I do it all the time. I keep trying to come up with something different. The angle is the thing for me...OK! That's my style.
New position from the prior version of this, different time of day. Like the variations in the windows of this. The other was cloned a bit for homogenity in the windows. This being an open challenge, I could not do that.
Post. Crop. Layer adjustmentss for levels, brightness/contrast, hue and saturation. USM. Resize. USM.

The building is so well abstracted in this shot that in the thumbnail view, one wonders how those interesting lines were constructed. I love the textures and the colors as well as the strong rhythm.

Technically a good photograph. Where is the groundbreaking photographic technique? It's not readily apparent and therefore not the best entry for this particular challenge.

A good crisp shot and the angle makes me switch from seeing it as a building to a series of paths. This may be the effect you are looking for and you certainly have accomplished. Good luck.

very innovative use of cropping to create a completely different kind of photo. Makes you look several times and I really like the effect and colours. Not sure about the title though.

Would have been a great submission for the Architecture challenge! Not sure if I see anything really groundbreaking about this though.
