Greetings from the Critique Club

Definitely meets the challenge of leading lines. I like the way that the black and white creates the mood of a moist and misty day. The focus is a little soft but this is not necessarily a bad thing with a scene like this as it adds to the mood. I like the reflections in the canal!
I don't feel a different angle is needed to 'improve' this shot, but could perhaps give you another shot with a different viewpoint.
Good luck with future challenges!

Concentration on the center tree and it's reflection in the water might have been a better choice. The barren land in the foreground and on the left is just that, barren! I also think returning to the scene for a retake would be well worth the trouble!

Nice b&w shot. a little more sharpness to bring out the trees on the right side, but I like the "fading" as it continues on.

Captures a winter day. Wish the lines lead to a focal point.

I love the way the stream flows in from the right, cuves and heads off into the distant left. It looks so serene there. Good photo!

Pretty good but seems a little blurry or something. Not sure what's wrong exactly.

I like the black and white, but the shot doesn't really give me the feeling of "leading lines". A little more brightness and contrast may have helped to show up the creek a little bit better - it seems to fade to black a little to much for my taste.

Are the trees the subject. Not very interesting to look at.

this is a good line, but it doesn't 'lead' anywhere important in the photo... the black and white also seems to be a little flat overall... - setzler
