Very visually appealing image. Love the tones and DOF. I'm not crazy about the white image in the background - I think it takes the viewer's eye away from the main subject a bit - but overall a great capture. Very nice.

i like this image.
I think the bokeh in the background strengthens the plant in the foreround. It has a similar shape. I wonder if the bokeh on the right side of the image is a little bright for my liking, taking a bit too much attention away from the rest of the photo. You have great detail in the front flower, which creates good interest. Perhaps i would have enjoyed to see a larger crop.. a little more of the flower on the left and a little larger bokeh area... .. but those are just my opinions...
great image.

There is something very nice about this image that I just can't put my finger on. It's a wonderfully nontraditional flower (or whatever), so it's unusual and captures my attention. It's off-centered, cropped composition is very nice and works well IMO. The de-focused background compliments perfectly, and I believe adds significantly to the impact of the picture. Overall, I'd say it's one of the more technically perfect images in this challenge, and should do well. Very nice.

nice photo, I think the background is a bit too harsh

I really like the wide contrast of color. The blurred background is interesting, maybe too interesting, I'm finding myself looking back and forth between the flower, and the background, rather than at the image as a whole.

I'm impressed you made an ugly rather non attractive dead plant look beautifull. The Brokeh adds alot to the photo and the rich gold to honey tones on the petals? have a nice contrast against the dark center of the plant. one of my top 3 picks keep up the great work.

Great shot, the background is a bit disturbing though.
