I am interested in b/w images, as I have not dome many as yet. Exploring all the best black & white images, re members works, and adding my favorites to my portfolio. I am adding this one, as a favorite, as I love the simplicity of the shot.....

Superb composition and tones.
This is one that is perfect for B & W.
Into my favorites & one of the best 10 in the challenge IMO. ((10))

Nicely done, compelling bit of contrasts, uncluttered and appealing. I wonder if most people willl understand that the hairs are probably from a horse, and not grass.

Nice contrasts of texture, tone, and tension.

Beautiful use of lighting to make these hairs into such a strong visual element. The graduated background works well, especially in the way that the main division between dark and light echoes the position of the barbed wire. Composition nie though feels a touch tight on the left. 8

Awesome. I love the composition and the coloring choice. Excellent bokeh. ANd last but not least, very nicely lit. The catchlight on the hair makes the shot for me. 10

Simple but effective, entertainting lines. I like the contrast in this photo, both the contrast of light as the contrast between the soft white stuff vs the hard barb-wire. 7

Very fresh approach to a rather tired subject. A very clever use of the light and dark background above and below the wire. The dark background really makes the hairs stand ount. I really like the balance and flow in this photograph. -10

Different. Sort of abstract. I like how the barbwire fence separates the black and white bg. I like this.

Hairy fence works great here and perfect in B&W, one of my favorites in this challenge. 10

This is beautiful. I love the contrast, the composition, the focus, the framing ... just about everything except the jpeg artifacts which prevent it from being a 10 for me. This image is about 50K and could be as big as 150K. Suggest maxing the file size in the future to avoid the artifacts.

Nice contrast between the curves of the hair and the strength of the wire. B&W was a great choice here.

Good choice - already in my favourites and I've already commented on this so I'll keep this simple... 10.
