		| | Simple, elegant, nicely composed, refreshing subject. Speaks to me of winter. Well done. |

		| | Simple and pretty. Good use of negative space. I can see this as really pretty notepaper. :-) |

		| | i like the idea behind the composition, but am not bowled over by the execution. while i like the general organization of the image, i don't like how the pine needles are melting into the background. the bokeh is fine, but i think your image would have been stronger if there was a bit more focus on the needles. |

		| | Back for a second look to bump up from 6 to 7. The whispy pine needles make a clever visual and focus bridge between the subject pine cone and the presumably snowy background scene. That's a nice touch. So 7. No ... it's even better than that; 8. |

		| | Beautiful shot. I would have cropped the bottom or right side a bit to make it less sqaure. |

		| | Excellent idea to place the pine cone in the upper left corner. This allows us to really soak in the soft background. The image has a peaceful and dreamy effect. Perfect use of bokeh. |

		| | The short definition of Bokeh from KenRockwell.com, which I am using for voting on this challenge: "Bokeh describes the rendition of out-of-focus points of light." Check. Is the subject enhanced by the bokeh of the background? Check. Nicely done. This looks like it belongs on Christmas stationery. |
