Critique Club Assignment:

Initial: Great shot! Looks like something out of a park brochure.

Composition: Nicely done. The bridge leads right to the people who tell a story of a magnificent view and an incredible height. The bridge continuing into the photo and the use of the trees to frame the shot adds to the depth.

Technical: A bit overexposed, but I think it works here as it helps to tell the story of the time of day, and adds sparkle to the bridge. Centering it worked well. The only suggestion I would make would be to have taken the shot from a slightly lower angle to accentuate the swoop of the suspended bridge even more.

Overall a well done shot. I see the voters agreed.

Nice...

The concept is good but I think I would have zoomed in closer and eliminated the void on the right and on the left. The scene has potential and worth a retake on a return visit. IMHO

hmm i wonder what gave them the idea for the bridge challenge this week?? nice shot

good framing, good leading lines, but I think I would have liked if you'd done a couple of things differently - shot at a different time of day and waited around until there was only the person in the orange jacket there or something similar

Great shot, but it would have been so much better if they were at the other side of the bridge! Especially the one in orange!

Great photography, makes me feel in this place.

Nice perspective. a bit darker (maybe exp compensation -0.3 )would darken the left upper corner and the "fencing" on the bridge, and bring out the saturation a bit more.

my eye for sure is leaded by the bridge through the photo ... this could work well for bridges too :)

Perfect for the challenge! I really like the composition, and the lighting that you had that day was pretty good - if I was wishing, I'd wish for more light on the other side of the bridge, but working with what the situation was, I like it a lot.

Nice picture. I like the lighting on the fence. Good luck.

Nice shot! I'd like it better if the lighting was more similar on the two sides where you can see the cable but it's difficult when you are working with natural light sources! Focus could be better but it's a great subject and an interesting idea. I might crop out some of the trees at the top to place subject more in the center of the shot.

The lines draw me across and into the dark forest. Good job.

NIce shot, might have looked better without the people.

Tree on the right over exposed 9 from me!

Man I love these member challenges. Very GOOD! Maybe if the subjects were a little farther back, but still GREAT! 9.

very nice 9. I would have used a slightly tighter crop at the top to keep the focus on the bridge and not the other trees.

I liked the photograph a lot. The line of the bridge does lead you into the photograph very strongly. The lighting seems a little unfortunate and my end tended to stop where the shadow began, which seemed to work against the idea behind the line, but I still enjoyed the scene.

I think this was agood idea In mop it would have impacted more if there were less people perhaps just the guy in the orange top and with him positioned further away from the camera. The sunshine on the r/h side is a bit over exposed

Near flawless. Great lines and subject. Good framing and lighting! Well done, in my top 10 this week!

nice work... this is a good example of leading lines... the bridge leads nicely to your subject :) - setzler

Great idea, illustrates the challenge well. A little overexposed on the right. A cloudy day or a different time of the day may have helped this. Good luck. 8
