Way to go, Tom! This was a no-brainer 10 for me. I think what Mariuca said below is right: Street photography elevated to high-caliber of fine art. I am frankly astounded that this, as the highest-ranked image in the challenge, couldn't even clear a 7.0 here.

So well observed. The couple walking into the scene, with their fashionable footwear contrast so sadly with the main character. You illustrate so well how some people fall into a realm that exists outside mainstream society, and how easy it is for them to become invisible, even in plain sight. Full of sadness.
