Greetings from the CC club!
As a fellow Coolpix 4500 it's a nice shot.
THEME: I think the picture does meet the challenge but in my opinion stock photography should represent and focus on 1 object and here we have a flower and a lamp. I don't even see a link between the two objects... a common theme.
FOCUS and LIGHTING: Good focus and lighting. I think that the graininess (especially in the lamp shade)in the pic is due to the color over-saturation.
COMPOSITION: The cropping is good and the shadows on the wall gives depth to the photo. The pink is too bright for me but that's a personal statement. :-) But I do think that going on the edge with the color would limit the sell of your pic in a stock catalogue as most people look for something more common.

| Grrr - what is this doing way down here? Now I feel badly that I only gave you a nine - I subtracted a point for the light swtitch. This is a waaay under reated photo. Probaby it is in the wrong challenge, maybe people couldn't see stock possibilites/ |

OUCH! The overwhelming pinkness of this photo hurts my eyes!
The idea here is interesting... the composition around these two objects and their shadows is pretty creative, but that colour... it's just too much! |

| I like this unusual image VERY much. The coloring is rich and vibrant, the orchid is beautiful, and the lamp and shadow go so well. Very, very nice. 10! |

| Oooh, Orchid! I almost called it pink but it's definately orchid. I like the shadow play. I would have liked more detail in ghe beautiful flower though and I don't understand what the flower and the lamp have to do with one another. Sorry for being dense. |
