 I couldn't believe this robber fly let me get this close to it. I just happened to notice it land on a tree branch near where I happened to be mowing the yard at the time, and I pulled out my phone. Decided to give it the same painterly processing I enjoyed so much on a caterpillar earlier this year. Maybe some day I'll turn them into a collection.
