This was a challenge favorite for me. The extended negative space above the subject's head and the title were the finishing touches for me. I could be wrong, but it seemed to me you were evoking something of a modern cinematic take on traditional eastern Orthodox religious iconography? |

Ok so maybe this just did not get the correct title, but IMO this one doesn't take away from the image somehow. I LOVE the composition, layers, hair, monochrome. I'll bet it was a wonderful time to remember. Bump. |

Normally, I would hate a photograph of this mess, but... there's something about it that has drawn me in and I've looked at it for a long time studying it and its appeal.
