He/she (?) and I worked really hard together for this.

And, I fear it won't score well. Too dark and not enough subject.

Ok... it's ok... he/she had some time inside where it's warm for a bit before going back outside.

And, I told him/her "thank you" many times.


I like to think that he/she enjoyed our time together.

After voting:

I seriously almost didn’t enter this. I don’t like the harsh (natural) light. A real photographer would have dealt with that.

But, I never was below a 7+ in voting.

Yet, I never doubted my 5+ scoring image in voting now, at all.

I love that one. *rolleyes*

I might need some life lessons.

Or… more likely, photography and judgement lessons.
i really don’t like this image’s technicals.

But…, I’ll certainly take the ribbon!!!

A deserving winner. The low angle, sharp focus on the eyes, and beautiful shallow depth of field make this feel so alive. The dirt and texture add so much character and makes the whole image. Excellent capture, and congratulations on the blue Lydia! 🫶🏻
