 Borgarnes, small village in Iceland, about an hour away from Reykjavik. This was shot on the last day of the year. Later that night the tiny town would be lit by fireworks. This is shot with a Mavic 4 Pro drone and is a panorama made out of two frames. I didn't intend to shoot for a panorama, but I did shoot two similar angles and just later decided to try and stitch them together when looking through the pictures at home. Some generative fill was required to fill in corner gaps in the ocean and sky, but the houses and land are all original.

This feels like a two-page spread in a travel magazine. Gorgeous, first-class aerial photography for me. The humble title belies the visual impact.
