Regarding LevT's questions:
Did you launch from the embankment?
Yes.
How far out was the drone?
The drone was probably 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile out. I can maintain good signal strength out over the lake, and I have gone much further with my Air 2s. There are some fresh water intake structures about 2 1/2 miles out that I have photographed from shore.

Congrats Mark, you collection of amazing Chicago drone cityscapes just keeps growing! Time to think about a coffee table book perhaps? Did you launch from the embankment? How far out was the drone?

a blue image and a blue ribbon .. very fitting .. also its an awesome photo .. the light is just wonderful .. and WOW .. the placement of the sun right there .. thats like a miracle .. :)
