 This image was surprisingly fun to photograph. Challenging in ways I did not expect. Trying to get the base of the glass not to be distorted and lining up the lines in the glass with the background. I think if I had been more scientific in my approach (used a ruler, etc) it would have been much more efficient. But as my husband says, I am an eyeball kind of gal, and like to make my life harder at times. I also think using a wine glass would have eliminated the distortion at the bottom; however, I really liked the squares with the circle of the lemon so I decided not to go that route.

Have a feeling I will be dinged for the water droplets on the right side, and I toyed with reshooting, but honestly I liked the imperfection of them. Same goes for the seeds, on other slices that I removed the seeds, there was a void that bothered me more than the natural element, so I left them. We will see how this is received by voters.
