 I took this picture on a family RV trip to several national parks in the United States. This picture has a double meaning for the word "end." It's both the end of the road, or boat ramp in this case, and also the potential end of what was once an amazing lake (Lake Powell). The water level is down 75%.

I've been following the demise of Lake Powell via The Weather Channel and Social Media. This is an extraordinary photo.. I assume via drone. Excellent image! Congrats!!

The fact that it's Lake Powell makes it so much more interesting/poignant, etc. Huge congrats on the blue!

Your road ended better than mine :-) As a native San Diegan and far-West landscape wanderer, I knew Lake Powell well when it was in its glory days. It's frightening what's happening now... Congrats on the Blue!

loving the division between the land and the sea .. and the smoothness of the water contrasting with the land .. i'm wondering if you are a very small and indistinguishable speck in the shadow of one of the the cars .. !! .. ;)
btw .. this gets better the more i look at this .. the colours also are perfect .. :)

very intriguing shot. I wish the road/land took up more of the scene. I like the fact that the sea is shown, but the land has a lot to explore, and the sea doesn't. Plus, if the land was a little more intrusive, it might give more of a immediacy, more of a problem that the road doesn't continue. Right now with it being just half of the photo, it feels more balanced and that it's not a problem that the road has ended.

Just a thought.
