Wow did you ever capture the essence of an Old Masters painting here. Technically so well done and also so artistic and beautiful.

many congrats Sarah on a lovely whimsical image .
you have caught her expression so perfectly ... i'm loving that most of all ..
its a beautiful portrait that i'm thinking she'd want to hang on her own wall .. unless that's too narcissistic for such a seemingly deep and thoughtful person .. ! .. ;)

edit to add .. lol .. !! .. ;)

After the classic romantic painters, beautifully carried off. The color scheme and presentation are immaculate. Nice.

That this is a photograph is both hard to believe and completely believable. What a beautiful dress, model, setting. It's an old Master's that I've somehow missed all these years. Some may find the face slightly over-processed - for me, it's perfection. 9+

Brings to mind the art of Edward Bourne-Jones - or perhaps Millais. Beautifully lit, composed and presented, but something, for this viewer is just slightly out of kilter - I can't put my finger on it, but will revisit. 7.

Edit - I still can't work out what it is that stops me giving this full marks - it is so artfully and carefully crafted, and yet there remains something just very slightly off. I wonder if it is to do with the sense of balance - that my brain wants a little more space to the left and less to the right. Nonetheless, bumping to 8.
