before ppl got busy with drones here in dpc i'd make smart remarks about how you must have wings or could fly ..
these days i've got a bit desensitized .lol . but not desensitized to the amazing photos ppl can take with them .
i'm constantly blown away by how stunning and beautiful a birds eye view can be .
i sorta wish i could fly .. just for that ..
anyway .. congrats on the ribbon .. and such a wonderful image . :)
ps .. thankyou also for your comment on my katee . and yes she is missed .. :( |

| Interesting to see this from a drone view point. This place has so much meaning to me. I had visitors staying with me in Chicago who had arrived on 7th September 2001. We were at a Cubs game on the evening of the 8th September and well, we all know what happened the next day. I'd only been living in Chicago 6 months at the time. On the 10th September I took my friend to the Bahai temple in Wilmette where we just sat and reflected for hours. Seeing it here brings this memory back so vividly. Hard to believe it was 20 yrs ago this year. Feels like yesterday. |
