this is such a bumpy ride in only the first 12 hours of voting ..

but started amazing .. first vote a 6 .. second vote went up to 6.5 .. third vote up to 7.3333 .. it was actually going up .. i was surprised but feeling like YAY .. !!.. ;)
then the ppl who liked it became few and far between .. so at nineteen votes it was 6.0000 ..

and i got a comment which i felt the need to answer ..
just as another point of view .. mine .. !! .. lol ..

for starters this was taken on my phone in a low light room .. so the noise was extreme .. i really liked the pic .. and i took it thinking of this challenge .. to me it was totally about legs .. the man's legs and the cat's .. like a story of connection .. so i wanted to save it from the noise and enter it in the challenge ..

i tried the normal de-noise avenues but they all made it look plasticy and unappealing .. then i thought .. why not something with a pattern .. so i did some tinkering in akvis and came up with the look you see here ..

ppl can spend a lot of time on the lounge .. i know i have .. its almost like i have merged with it .. definitely difficult to leave especially when something on netflix grabs your attention .!!.

so i loved how that feeling became more pronounced after the akvis action .. the pattern on the lounge the same as on the man’s legs ..

just my opinion .. but i dont think its all about the cat .. and i do believe that even if something isnt jumping out at you .. it can still be a major player .. and be a huge part of the whole story ..

in some ways I’m grateful that has become mediocre in the eyes of the voters .. because I can now let go .. if it was going really really well I might be getting very attached to the outcome .. my liquid is going even worse .. so I’m riding a wonderful wave of gratitude here .. lol ..

I’m also grateful for the comment that didn’t see what I did .. we are all different .. its great that someone .. who is anonymous atm .. was brave enough to voice his/her opinion about my photo .. a lot of time ppl dole out quite low votes without a reason .. so thankyou whoever you are … :)

Great head of the cat and a wonderful match of all the colors

The only thing I wish for is more details in the human's feet, but I can't decide if it "adds mystery" or... annoys me. Ha!

But... it's made me stare at your image for quite a long time... deciding.

That's success, in my opinion.

Fabulous legs!

I would never have thought this was yours, Roz!

But, gee golly! I loved it from the moment I saw it (That's why I "faved" it).

"in some ways I’m grateful that has become mediocre in the eyes of the voters "

Not at ALL mediocre in the eyes of mine! I love this!!

I like the idea of this picture of a cat on the legs of the owner, you can see a little blurred feet and cat's leg. Maybe photos would be more interesting without editing?

I don't like the post-processing. Image seems more about "cat" than about "legs", cat seems to be the subject and legs just a part of the background.
