This is a modern-day version of "Washington Crossing the Delaware." My family decided to stop by my wife's cousin's house in Fallon, NV on our way to Lake Tahoe. Every two weeks during the summer they flood their yards (it has to do with having water rights). The water you see in the picture wasn't there an hour earlier. That's why the kids are able to "run on the water" (it's only a few inches deep). I had a paddleboard on my truck because we were going to Lake Tahoe. I saw the kids running around in the water and this picture popped into my head. I gathered the kids up, grabbed my paddleboard and a flag off the side of their house, and the rest is history.
