 There is a little bit of an optical illusion in this composition. The dome is actually off center. In order to give the picture the balance I wanted I made the close up shot on the right just a little bigger. When I look at it this way it appears to me that the dome is centered in the overall picture.

I did not set this up. I saw this lady standing there and took her picture. I did not notice her patriotic cap until I looked at the picture on my computer. That was when the idea for this composition struck me.
