great details and the softness is beautiful ..
particularly loving how it appears that out of death there is life ..
the dried and withered leaves embracing the seeds ..
here in australia and i'm sure in other parts of the world there are some plants and trees that cant reproduce unless there is a bush fire ..
i just googled it to get my facts straight ..
"Some plants, such as the lodgepole pine, Eucalyptus, and Banksia, have serotinous cones or fruits that are completely sealed with resin. These cones/fruits can only open to release their seeds after the heat of a fire has physically melted the resin" |
