Yes, this was taken with me laying on the ground and rotated 90 degrees. I had to find a background that looked like brick. The one I found was at a traffic circle a few miles from my house. I decided that I did not want to be the subject of taunts and blowing horns as I set up and took the shot so the best time was at dawn on the weekend when traffic was sparse. Attached my tripod to a stepladder to try to get the camera as high as possible and used a remote trigger with a 2 second delay to take the shot as I had no one to shoot it for me. The trigger was about a foot away from my left hand which I cloned out of the shot. On Saturday morning I made my first attempt but didn’t like it because of shadows from the early morning sun and I did not realize until I got home that I had set myself up with the bricks parallel to my body. So Sunday morning I got to the spot even earlier (6 am) before the sun cast its shadow, set up with the bricks horizontal and got the shot I wanted.
In retrospect there are a few things I would do differently. Maybe in a future challenge!
