 I thought to myself, what could I put on these shelves to make this shot more interesting? This was while something was chewing on my shoe and tugging on my shoelace. This is Bear. He's almost three months old. Spoiler Alert: He's likely to find his way into more challenges.

I thought this might score higher. Perhaps some voters didn’t realize that that is a real live puppy on the shelf. Or, perhaps they aren’t as big a sucker for an image of a cute puppy as I am. But, if you are, here is a bonus pic:

I did notice the puppy and assumed it was one of Lydia's. The cuteness got you a 6 vote but it somehow did not gel together. Plus - what a weird collection of books! ;)

I have to admit that I didn't take it for real but a porcelain decoration.
But this didn't affect my voting whereas the erratic background did prevent me from giving a higher score.

Just admiring all your books and knickknacks and photographs, and of course who could not admire the fierce look of your new little pooch, his legs spread apart, he is the star! Not sure with what went wrong with what looks like the swirly green wallpaper in the background. Did you use the liquify tool to do that? Already voted.
