 done for the resolution side challenge for january

my theme is composites, overlays or textures ..

this is the gorgeous little maddy from my last post .. this time she is eating one of my slip on sandals .. ;)

i was editing this for the ppl who were here to fix my roof .. and i saw the symbolism in the image .. then i thought of the challenge ..
symbolism of not getting what we expect out of life .. etc etc ..
i had tried previously to think of something to enter .. but came up blank .. usually these things come to me not through thought .. but thru osmosis almost ..
i got a bit excited to enter a challenge .. then went to put it in .. but it had already gone in for voting .. :( ..
not sure if i would have had the overlay in the challenge ..
and I would have given it a more 'symbolic' title ..

i used one of my photos of grass overlayed in lighten blending mode which created the foggy look ..

I can't believe the detail you got in Maddy's fur. The "foggy" around the edges makes a nice contrast.
