This is really surreal and interesting. I love the shapes and colours. I guess it's one of those Gallileo thermometers? I'm not sure that this meets the challenge in the sense of the description, but it's a kind of perspective. Nice photo. |

Great image, but I'm not understanding your tie in to perspective. I'm scoring this image based on how much I feel it ties into the challenge, although I feel it would deserve a better score just because it is such a good image. If you can explain your tie in to perspective to me, I will adjust my score accordingly (if I understand and agree). In order to stay anonamous and not violate any rules, you could create a free hotmail account or something like that so I won't know who you are at DPChallenge! |

Comment didn't stick - Good photo! Nice color, good focus, framing - well, I'll go personal taste there. Lighting - while it seems bright would be needed to light the degree tags, the glare is a bit harsh. The curvature of the glass distorts the image, but I'm not certain if that's a good thing or a bad thing (no score affect).

I'm sorry but I can see nothing in this photo. I don't recognize anything and don't know what it is a photo of. I hope you explain what it is. |

his is a beautiful photo.. the color and abstract 'perspective' is excellent.. I had originally given this an 8 but i think it's worth a 10 after absorbing it a little... great shot :) = 10 - setzler |

good choice of subject. don't mind the glow of the shining white like maybe would happen with another shot, this looks better just a little overexposed.
borders don't really do anything for me, but everybody else is using them,
so after this week you won't hear any more moaning about it. go for what you know.

I've been trying to figure out how to shoot one of these things for a while now. Nice perspective, colors are great. |

Funky macro of a Galileo thermometer. Some of the highlights seem a bit blown but an interesting shot all the same |

Excellent work. I have one of these Galileo thermometers and have tried repeatedly to capture it this well (with little luck). Fits nice with the challenge, too. 9 |
