December Beach Break

We have visited this beach many times and never seen this rock formation on the beach. It must have been uncovered by the actions of the sea. It appears to be volcanic in origin, quite unlike the cliffs or the other rocks in the area.

nice leading line into the background, curving slightly and pointed toward the figure in the distance

Definitely human.

It leads nicely to the rocks in the background. I would love to be there right now!

The person in the distance really puts the size of the rocks and cliff in perspective. Beautiful scene and shot.

Wide open and beautiful. The stone touching the lower edge really takes us there. The lone person gives us scale and a place for the eye to fall but I'd prefer this photo void of any humans.

this is really stunning Marion ..
it's a beautiful scene .. and you have composed it to perfection ..
I'm really loving that person .. way off in the distance .. gives this an added something that I find difficult to put into words ..
the rocks, the cliffs and the horizon are like leading lines taking me right to him ..
this is excellent .. )

What a beautiful area. As much as the rock formation is interesting to me, I love the sea mist in the background.
