Not really a daily scene for me, but we don’t need to drive very far from the city to see kangaroos, this was shot at a location that I ended up doing a wedding at.

congrats on the front page Anita .. great result . ..
maybe i should photograph some of the kangaroos or wallabies around here .. lol .. ;)
but they are very shy and hop away if you even look like you are going to get closer ..

i must say .. this really looks like a neat image .. lol .. intentional pun .. ;)
i particularly love how you have composed this shot .. with the trees framing the kangaroo .. not an easy achievement when shooting wild animals ..
the kangaroo in silhouette against the almost white background is really appealing .. the sepia totally works and the darker clouds at the top give this an almost foreboding feel .. very cool .. :)

For you must be a daily scene but for me it's so exotic!. Funny how the trees come in pair with enough trunks comparing to the number of feet of the animal!
