Very technically nice. I like the background of tiles, lines, and angles. The shot angle is also very engaging. I feel it is lacking in contrast, however. Very nice capture of your subject.

Well since I did not get to comment on this elsewhere I will here. Love the perspective very much! Like the expression of obstinance on the child that is still quite discernible even at the angle shot in this. The composition is wonderful as well. One of my favs no matter where I see it.

I would like to see his face a little more to get the full impact of the emotion. Just 5-10% more. great DOF. 6

I would've just used the word stubborn, because as I've discovered, voters aren't the most knowledgable people ;). This is a good pose, and I think the background works well, but I think the subject should be looking up at the camera. If he were to look up at the camera, and make a stubborn face, It would assuredly exude recalcitrance :D.
