Horus is the Egyptian god of the rising sun, as well as the symbol and personification of Light.
Also, the ubiquitous eye of Horus is a symbol of anciant Egyptian religion, a symbol which has been inspired by the 'Eye of God' (a solar eclipse).
This is what I imagine his throne would look like...quite a relax throne!

Setup:
I wanted to take a shot of our rocking chair with low light and a very dark surrounding.
After I had tried different rooms inside my house - with a different effect in mind - I went outside on our porch to have the complete darkness of the sky as background. Unfortunately, the sky wasn't so black at all. I was about to give up because the results didn't reach my expectations by far. So I put the rocking chair aside, against the fassade and started packing my material to go back inside. That's when I saw these cool shadows.
The only light source is a small candle on the rocking chair. I had to use double sided tape to keep it in place. I took the shot from below, just far enough for the candle's flame to be covered by the inclined sitting surface.
Due to the low light I set the exposure to six seconds. This had the advantage of making the shadows more solid and symmetric. The flame flickers, after all.

Post processing: Cropped two windows from both sides. Contrast/Brightness adjustment. That's all.

Thanks for all your nice comments. I'm glad you appreciated the shadows, I was quite stunned myself when I discovered them. The crop caused some controversy, it seems. I agree that the top could be cropped away, but doing the same to the bottom would cut the chair's legs off. I guess I should somehow have put more detail into those legs. The trouble would have been not to cause any secondary shadows...
Anyway, I'll be more careful about cropping for my next pictures. I'm glad I can learn from all of you.

The back lighting on this is well done and produced an interesting view of the chair and a GREAT shadow. THe shadow is not as straight at the top as I would like it to be and maybe an angled composition might have been a way to go to help that but I rather like the centered composition because of the shadow. I think you just needed to adjust the chair or lighting to get the shadow more symmetrical. Regardless it is very fine work and I like it a lot.

Great shadow work, but it is a bit uneven. Ever so slightly. Excellent idea.

I really like this photograph. The lines in focus and shadow use are impressive. Well thought out lighting and excellent execution. Simple shot, yet elegant. You might try cropping the top slightly, but this photograph works as is. Very well done.

I love the shadows. It would be great if you could have kept some more detail in the legs of the chair.

I just love that lighting! You have cleverly made a potentially boring subject much more interesting. I wonder if a tighter crop to a square format would have improved it? 7

I would have cropped out the bottom part which doesn't add anything to a great concept.
