Interesting picture. On my computer monitor, I see a shadow or something in the shape of an oval behind the chair. It is interesing.

Like the lighting and the shadows on the blinds/curtins very much as well as the chair silhouette with fully exposed hat....nice touch. I am bothered by the round line encircling the the chair. Looks like something was behind the curtins that might have been removed? Very nice otherwise.

I think I would've cut out the bottom of the vertical blinds. I love the lines they make in the backdrop, but the light spilling in at the bottom kind of ruins the mood for me. I want the hat to feel more jazz and blues and less 'Motel 6.' Personal opinion, though. This photo was a great idea.

Interesting set-up. I think that it could have used a persona for subject interest.

Intriguing shot! I like it. I'm not quiet sure if you could of cut off the bottom, or put the chair up on something to eliminate the carpet from it, but I love the highlights and lowlights.

I really like the idea of the shades. It is an excellent background for black and white. The chair is a little dark and kind of hard to see against the shade though. The picture becomes a little jumbled around the back of the chair.

I find it hard to look at the chair againt the vertical blinds. The hat is great. 6

The highlight (halo) around the shadow of the hat on the window is distracting. I like the composition

this is a very cool shot..the carpet seems to take away from the crisp and coolness of it...i think it would be even better if you had layed down some type of reflective surface under the chair or something to that nature, maybe even a sheet

Really great idea with good lines and tones....I would have cropped it because of the light streak across the bottom

hmm i like this one but cant decide why.. the light under the curtain is a bit confusing though, and the phantom halo is a bit odd but maybe in a good way, good effort

Other than what appears to be a blown highlight, I like a lot! The arcing shadow thrown by the hat is very effective.

My eye cannot stop staring at the arc of light painted above the chair. The blinds are also distracting. 4

This scene looks familiar to me personally. I wonder what is the glow supposed to be? I really like how the obsects stand out, just thinking that the clearness of the background distracts the main object a bit, but it works that the closer to the hat is darker. GREAT!

This is SO cool- I'm not quite sure what that circle in the backroud is but otherwise this is perfect, love the lighting on the hat 9
