 In response to this comment: “not a fan of exploitive images - excellent technically of course. gl.”

This a sadhu, he was on a pilgrimage walking around the holy mountain of Arunachala and repeatedly asking himself “who am I” if I’d pointed my camera 5cm from his face, he would have gave me a lovely smile, then taking stock of his feelings, asked himself “what is this thing feeling these things and why can’t it be found”. As it was very hot and he was not walking well, he was having a rest. Nobody was exploited here because nobody was there and technically nothing happened.

There is so much emotion in this shot. Also, looking at the photo raises lots of questions. Is he in pain? Why is he on the sidewalk? Is the walker his? Intriguing shot.
