I bought bananas today.

I poked holes in bananas set on a black posterboard today.

I've been waiting a long time to poke holes in bananas.

Then, I shot them today.

I've been waiting so long to shoot bananas that I've poked holes in.

I'm so excited that... I've dangled a preposition.

Please don't tell my Mom.

Thank you.

But, really... this was so much FUN!!

It's hard to see at first... one has to wait many minutes for the bruising to show.

I'm an impatient human. *sigh*

Arg.

Fun Fact: The "grass" underneath the Red Fish ... (or was it Blue Fish...One Fish? Two Fish?) is actually the back side of another "banana tattoo" where I'd practiced to see how I could do with a LOVE tattoo. (I was thinking something like "I LOVE bananas".)

I can post an outtake after... if anyone wants to see it.

Personally, I wouldn't want to see it. So... you do you. *grin*

Are you really still reading this?

Well... now that I still have you here, wanna hear about how I came to do all of this?

You do?

You're SO weird.

Ok. Ok...

I started off with just the idea of putting the cat in the hat on a banana. Just the one banana. That would be cool... right?

But, then... I imagined it as a photograph.

Only one banana... with an image? Sounds boring.

So... I wondered what to do.

I thought of the fish in the bowl, so took two bananas off the bunch... still attached.

I poked both images on the bananas... and then... waited for the images to show up... and then...

I realized.

Dang it! There needs to be 'three' to make a good scene.

So... I took another banana off of the bunch and put "Dr. Seuss" on it.

I liked it! It was much better.

But... it needed more.

So... back to the drawing/poking board... and added the "red fish/blue fish" guy.

And then...

I was happy.

A bit of a ball of stuff to raise the stem of the "Dr Seuss" banana... and I was finished.

Well... until I thought it would be better shot a few inches from the left...

*rolleyes*

And so it went.

Ha!

I like it now.

I hope you do, too.

Thanks for having a really bad, boring moment and still be here... reading my shot story!

:)

Hello from the critique club

An appealing image that meets the challenge fully and very creatively

What a talented lady you are! This is an absolutely superb and original idea, well I’ve never heard of it before, and it’s so well executed too, I really like it. Yes, you’re right I am weird but I really enjoyed your notes and, mum’s the word, your dangled participle is safe with me! You have my respect and congratulations for your well deserved score and high finish
