I think more light is needed to properly show this off - but even with the low light, it's in wonderful focus - good job

Perhaps it's just my monitor (which I did try to adjust before commenting) but I thought the overall shot was too dark. You've picked an interesting subject, and I would have liked to have seen more contrast between the subject and the background.

Amethyst is a beautiful birth stone. I would prefer to see some more lighting here to help the beauty shine through.

needs more light on the at least part of the image..some nice lighting on the white crystals would make this great.

Underexposed so it´s hard to rate it fairly but as it is, IMO it is below average in this challenge.
