Great perspective shot on a commonly shot object. The contours of the top of the candle have taken on a landscape feel and the blue flare (?) in the background is a perfect touch. This is an astoundingly effective shot. My hat is off. I give it a 9 and it's my favorite of the challenge so far.

I like the soft purple colors... the only thing i find a little distracting is the circular glare next to the flame. I give it a 9... good job!

Great idea. Nice colors. Maybe a deeper depth of field could include more of the interesting details of the candle edge. Very nice border too :)

Muted colors were in line with your candelight choice. Your use of focus did not allow me to immediately pick out the focal point - was it the flame, or the pool of wax, or something else?

Very cool shot. Love the colors. I am asuming you used a noise filter to clean this up and it adds to the smoothness of this shot. Well done!
