Redondo Pier - haven't been there in a while. Went to find a pelican for Robt. Nice light there in the evening!

No pigeons, though. A couple of gulls if you look closely, and one airplane.

Doing better than expected, I must say! Woo hoo!

Congrats on the HM Deb. I knew you would show up on the front page somewhere.

Congrats on the HM, Deb. This is just lovely and I thought it would turn out to be yours (although the 2nd place one confused the issue a little).

Haha, an HM in your own challenge! Good work Deb! :-)

A pelican would have been nice, but this is classic Melethia even without it. Congrats on representing yourself well in a fun challenge with some good competition.

based on my projection you should have been in my place. Still I was close. Congratulations on being you!

You fooled me. I looked at this several times and could not come up with a comment. Seemed like yours but somehow too sedated, too relaxed! Nothing came to break the peaceful spell of the moment. Well, good for you. Thanks for this image and for all of your work that inspired us and woke us up for from a recent dormant spirit.

Glad to see the real thing placed high, and it is one of the entries I guessed could be yours.

This makes me think of a Deb shot with the gorgeous light and silhouettes. I love that this is in color.

Yup. Sunset silhouettes and a good one with lots of light drama.

Very authentic of Deb's recent work. My only 10 - because it's the only one to nail it.

Such a story.. such glorious light... silhouettes, birds, trails... everything in it's place. The real deal.

Very good! Feels like Deb's stuff. The ocean, the silhouettes, the strong shadows, even tbe birds (i wish they were a little more prominent :)). Maybe because of the toning, my pick for Yellow

One of the entries that I think could be the real one from Deb.

Beautiful light overtakes the middle fixture. Wonderful catch!

Pretty sure this is Melethia, a lovely everyday evening image.

Edited to add my 2nd guess is actually Johanna...but then again I think that could be my first guess really :)

the richness of the light, the textures in the pier, the smoothness of the sky, the combination of stories, the child running - all great features

I'll go out on a limb and say this one is Melethia's. It's certainly "her" pier, I believe... And she DOES like her backlighting...
