Six words and I have misspelled one third of them! I was oblivious to the errors when I got Beetle's comment. I was immediately mortified and thoroughly embarrassed. Then came snaffle's comment. How could I be so stupid? As the view count grew, so did my shame and humiliation. I imagine each viewer shaking their head and thinking, "What an idiot." It's not too late. I could self DQ. Expunge this painful blot from my permanent DPC record. No one need ever know it my image. Of course, it had to be a black and white train shot. I might as well own up to it. Hello. My name is Mark, and I probably can't spell alcoholic without help. I spell as well as your average third grader. OK, maybe a below average third grader. I could try to blame this on the fact that I added the text to this image with less than 15 minutes before the deadline, but the truth is spelling is my Waterloo. The advent of spellcheckers was a godsend. But, I have hidden behind them for way too long. Take pity on me.

I thought that these misspelled words were on purpose. When depressed everything cracks or craks or raks, descent or decent or cent for that mattaer matter.
But I did not like the image, the processing, the font or the poster. Gave it a 5 for the idea behind it.
In this forum it's not only praise, that's why we placed our names on the list
I'm a decent speller, but as with Beetle, I'm a careless reader. Didn't notice misspellings. Didn't score with any language penalties. What I like most here is the isolation of the subject, even in the context of a subway car. It really works for the title film title concept. Not sure I'd want to sit through it, though.
On one hand, I want to say: "Don't worry about it". My husband is a VERY intelligent man, but he can't spell to save his life. I can spell, but I rarely proofread and usually have plenty of typos. So....... many of us are guilty of this, and perhaps it shouldn't matter???? (sorry..... I don't believe that last one myself)
On the other hand, spelling is so terribly important!!!! Errors jump out at me, bite me on the nose, and don't let go. Worse still when it involves "permanent words" (if you know what I mean), rather than just a typed chat that is forgotten minutes later.
Having said all that, I was sitting on the fence about your score. I couldn't do a half point, so the spelling errors pushed me to the lower score, but I did not suddenly dish out a very low score just because of spelling errors.
Good luck with the spell checkers...... they can only do so much for us.
I confess to having noticed the misspellings right away but I also loved the overall effect. This got a 7 from me and would have gotten more had there been a few more "poster" touches.
