Your description of this photo reminded me of things I used to say when I was working in Wisconsin for a summer, years ago. The skies there are so magnificent, and down here in Illinois, I don't get much chance to observe beautiful skies. So when I get the chance like that, I too stop and wonder. I've forgotten how much I enjoy just stopping and being amazed by our skies.

I will post the original later. It is at work so I can't get to it now. but if I remember right the original didn't look much different than this. And I can assure you that in real life it was close to this color, maybe even brighter.

| love this shot. looks like an impressionist painting. wish there was a half stop more in the landscape, the darkness takes away from the sky as your eye is drawn to the bottom. overall beautiful shot (8) |
