Yeah... I know. Frogs don't have souls.

So... sue me. *grin*

This guy hopped off the table while I was rearranging the light. I saw him hop off, but knew he couldn't really go anywhere, the dogs were outside... so I let him hop until I fixed things up.

Well, he hopped into the little pantry-like room next door. Still I didn't worry, just went to get him in the corner next to some cabinetry.

I reached for him.

He jumped up and over the baseboard and into the unreachable space under the cabinet.

The INSTALLED cabinet. That can't be moved.

*sigh*

I didn't actually NEED him for this challenge, had just found him, so was going to use him.

But, I couldn't leave him there to die.

*sigh*

*sigh again*

I got tools, took off the toe-kick moulding, then the fascia board... took the nails out of the toe-kick moulding and used it to force him out of the narrow space between the cabinet and the wall.

That frog.

*sigh*

Anyway, he sat very still for me... until he decided he'd had enough, and suddenly hopped off again.

I figured I'd gotten a decent shot and let him go outside again.

Merry Christmas, Little Frog.

Be thankful that your photographer is kind and didn't leave you to die behind the wall.

*sigh*

I wouldn't do that, but HE didn't know that.

*sigh again*

A lower perspective would have really made this shot. Not a fan of looking down on wildlife shots.

One of my favorites to ribbon. Nice detail in the eye and a good title to play up the image.

I'm not sure the reflection of the window added much for me. (I didn't even notice until I came back to comment.) But I just love the close up of this creature. Love the slime!

I'm not sure if I like or hate the window reflection.
