Challenge: Book It! : the LevT Street Challenge (Advanced Editing VII*)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D Mark III
Lens: Canon EF 24-70 2.8L II
Date: Oct 24, 2015
Aperture: 2.8
ISO: 5000

I really wanted Lev's book!!
Was chasing people on the street with iPhone and got couple of shots

but was not too happy with them.
So on the weekend grabbed my slightly bigger camera :-) and took T to Cambridge, hoping to shoot chess players that are always there at Harvard Square. Accidentally met this guy instead
,
he was not too photogenic though... :-)
Liked this elegant sad gentleman in subway much better...
Thank you so much for high votes!!!
I did not win Lev's virtual book award though. Sigh.

This is fabulous. I love looking at it.

And... I've done it a bunch.

Congrats on your Lev Book and your Ribbon.

Surprisingly enough MBTA trains do move sometimes. :-) Not always.

Congrats on the red - sorry I didn't comment during voting, but this was in my top three. Delighted that it did so well!

Congratulations, Elena! Sorry for not awarding you the virtual book, I hope that the real one will be a partial consolation :).

He followed the target down into the subway. "He's probably going to meet the girl" he thought. Harry snapped a few shots, took some notes and mumbled something about getting a better job.

This slice of life shows a typical workday down in the subway as a man dressed in a business suit looks on at the train pulling away. His stance and expression tell the story of him waiting - as per the title, he waits for the next one. He has missed this one and is slightly annoyed that he will have to wait for the next one to come by.

I earnestly believe that this image will end up on the front page of the challenge.

I would have cropped both extremities of the photo since in my humble opinion they detract from the overall quality of the photo.

Very nicely done and in my view definitely worth an 8.

Technically perfect. Filmic and candid. Bumping to an 8.

The look tells it all. Most engrossing. Personally I find the hue unnecessary, a steely one would have made perhaps more impact
