 Dear friends, thank you for the comments and high votes!
I'd really wanted to find a spontaneous still life, like Mariuca's cool fish, but did not have time to look for it at all... :-(. So just grabbed dry ice from work, took husband's shoe, found toy tentacles in daughter's drawer... Unexpected problem was that the cup with dry ice was too tall and stuck out of the shoe, so I ended up putting ice in ziploc bag. No shoe was harmed.

Handsomely put together and visually surprising. Unlike many entries that merely grouped disparate objects together, you've offered an entirety, a story that relates the objects and is jarringly quirky. The bright red-orange of the tentacles is the perfect note to bring it all together.

Surreal it is for me and I love it, my only worry is that the smoke (which makes the shot imho) stops this being 'still' life? that said, good luck and a bump of 1.
