I am now so happy. The D70 experience just gets better. This is my first post from my D70 with my new SB-800 flash. I used the D70 as the commander flash and the SB-800 as a wireless flash with omni dome and 14mm conversion lens on the flash. Wireless flash is so nice. Just hand hold the flash, and pop the shutter. I love how light plays with this image. Made a 30" x 20" print, looks great.

Photoshop:
RAW import, 16bit color space, USM, Levels to reduce a green cast, and that's it.

This is a great subject, nice focus and colours, but overall the composition is a little boring.

Clever shot, sharp, detailed, and well exposed. Certainly one of the more bizarre aspects of nature captured well!

I like this image but I think that there's too much in it. I love the colours and detail and the shapes. But because of everything else going around the little plant, you begin to wonder. Your eyes start rolling :)
I think a tighter crop would work better on this. The bit at the top and right are bit distracting. As the title suggests, what you really want to show is this little plant being eaten. That part of the image is very interesting, but the rest of stuff around it spoils the impact.

I though these plants were bug eating carnivors. Does this mean I have to bring my plants indoors for the night? Fun photo points 8

I've never seen anything like this, and the colors and shape of it are so pleasing to the eye that I can't help but give it a 10. This fits the challenge perfectly, and also stands alone as a nice photograph.

Amazing! Great job, dof, color, natural framing. That is an almost impossible shot to capture, but you did it well! Fits "Bizarre Nature" perfectl, and the aesthetics are dead on. Only 10 in the challenge.

Nice, strange subject. The light is a little harsh, and a busy background. - 7
