 The weather and lighting did not work like I had hoped. The lighting for the foreground was OK but the mountains in the background was not what I had hoped, unfortunately I only had one morning to try this shot. The image was made with HDR images focus stacked with focus set on the foreground rocks then the background mountain.

Came really close to hitting the unsubmit button on this one, really had reservations about the image because I was not totally happy with the mountain portion of the image. I did drive an hour each way just to get this image for the challenge so I am happy I left it in especially since it is 7.4 at 22 votes, maybe I will get lucky and maintain at least a 7.

After a moment I see a face on each side (left one speaking); 2 old friends discussing the changes in scenery over the centuries.

Grats on the blue. I saw the face on the right first,then the view. Amazing location. I like the fact that you focus stacked it. I've often thought about it but haven't tried it yet.
